We are really looking forward to welcoming our First-Year students and wish them every happiness and contentment in our caring learning environment where every student matters during their formative years in post primary education.
Kilrush Community School acknowledges that parent(s), guardian(s) are the primary educators. As a professional body of teachers, the staff here work in co-operation with the student and home to help each student reach his/her potential in an environment where mutual respect for everyone is a core value.
We view education as the development of the whole student, attention and emphasis is placed not just on the intellectual development but also on the student’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual development. We recognise that each student is a unique individual with special gifts and talents. We hope that with motivation, encouragement and hard work all of our students will discover their individual talents and have active fulfilling lives.
