Kilrush Community School would like to thank Eileen Fitzgearld from School Business Partnership and Irene Power & staff of Moneypoint for a wonderful informative visit to the Moneypoint site. This visit was organised by Maeve Howard of Kilrush School Completion Programme as part of the World of Work 2nd year initiative supporting young people in developing skills and preparing for the work environment. The visit provided students with the opportunity to speak with all different aspects of careers in Moneypoint including management, engineers, scientists, electricians, welders and apprentices. This was a very enjoyable experience for all involved and we are very grateful to Eileen & Irene for all their support, guidance and great opportunity for our students in Kilrush Community School.
